A three hour programme specifically designed for the action to take with a child (paediatric) emergency.
Aim
To equip a person with the necessary lifesaving techniques that will improve the chances of survival when facing a medical emergency, such as lack of consciousness, choking and the effects of burns or illness.
Contents:
- Initial assessment including ABC Choking
- Baby and Child Resuscitation
- Airway obstruction
- Treatment of burns
- Illness Management
