First Aid at Work
For your convenience our courses can be run at your site or workplace. This has the benefit of not only being convenient and cost effective but also has the added benefit that the candidates will get the opportunity to learn in the environment in which they will operate.
We can organise the courses at times that suit you, including in the evening, at weekends, or to fit most shift patterns.
Our courses for both individuals and groups are run throughout the year, so please contact us to discuss possible dates and times. Courses can be tailored to meet your specific or additional needs so that we can spend additional time or detail on a topic relevant to your particular needs.
The chart below is aimed to give you an improved understanding of what type of course you require. This is taken from the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations and shows the minimum acceptable numbers for first aid cover. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask us.
Employers have a responsibility for providing a safe working environment for their employees. However, accidents do happen, no matter how well trained staff are or how perfect a safe record is. Successful business owners and operators realise the importance of ensuring workplace safety as well as compliance with industrial safety standards, and the importance for being prepared for emergencies.
To comply with the Health and Safety regulations you will need to have an adequate first aid/emergency kit on site. These kits will differ, depending on the type of workplace or site and the work which is carried out there. They can range from a basic kit, right up to a full medical room with a stretcher and eye wash stations. We can train employees to use a wide range of equipment.
The Cel team are professional and experienced trainers with specialist knowledge and training skills. We aim to give you first class training which will meet your organisational needs as well as your legal requirements.
